The hard hitting fair trade documentary "Black Gold", starring our old friend Tadesse from Ethiopia, will air on Independent Lens on PBS April 10.  Be sure to watch it.  Look for the famous "Make Coffee Not War" bumper sticker on Tadesse's fridge!

I know that we will be flooded with calls and emails afterwards, but I wanted to let you know that I will be in the Sierra Nevada mountains of Colombia that entire week, so I won't be around to comment.  I will be with the Arhuaco people, who's priest class calls themselves the Elder Brothers, and have been warning us ("the younger brothers") about global warming for years, as they have seen the changes to water and plant life in their sacred mountains.  I will give a full report when I get back.
