This is an old Gayo varietal called "Bawani" that hasn't been on the market for a long time! We found a small patch on Mardian's farm in the village of Lukup Sabun, North Sumatra. But since we bought the entire crop an earthquake destroyed both Mardian's house (which we rebuilt) and the patch of Bawani, which is not replaceable. High notes of apricot and hibiscus with a deep earthy finish. Sumatran Gayo Heirloom
