Dean to talk at "Sin Nombre" Screening, Amherst Cinema, to Raise Awareness of the Death Train Problem
Amherst Cinema will put on a benefit screening of the powerful movie "Sin Nombre" at 7:15p.m. on Friday May 8th. Dean's Beans Organic Coffee Company will contribute an amount equal to all ticket sales to the Polus Center of Petersham to fund the Death Train Rehabilitation Project, which provides prosthetics, therapy, job training and placement to victims of the Death Train, which features prominently in the movie. The Death Train Project is a joint effort of Dean's Beans and Polus Center. Dean Cycon will discuss the Death Train after the movie, showing slides of the train, it's victims and the progress of the project, as well as his personal experiences in the train yards where the movie was filmed.
