Drink Deep!

This book came out just as I was beginning to learn -- and teach -- about coffee. I have been assigning it to students and giving copies to friends ever since, including friends in the coffeelands.
It remains the best introduction to the geographic, historic, political, and economic factors that make genuine fair trade essential. Transparency is sorely lacking in the coffee industry -- this book gives everyone the opportunity to grapple with some difficult truths.
These stories come from a place of deep respect and are told with an easy-going style and occasional glimpses of wit.
