Our compassionate yet tough CSO (Comprehensive Sustainability Officer), Phoebe, is in Nicaragua this week. She is accompanying a team from United Students for Fair Trade examining the impact of Fair Trade and the need to evolve the system to meet current market realities. Phoebe will also be talking to our farmer partners about setting up a cafe in Matagalpa, to be owned and operated by the cooperative.
